DCC honoured once again for excellence in corporate reporting

For the fourth time since 2010, DCC has been recognized for the quality of its corporate reporting by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). DCC won the association´s 2015 Award of Excellence in the small federal Crown Corporations category for the 2013–2014 Corporate Plan and Annual Report.

Richard Danis, Director, Finance, attended the awards ceremony in Toronto on December 9, 2015. Mr. Danis accepted the award from John A. Gordon, CPA, CA, KPMG LLP (shown in photo). As summarized in the Judges' Book, DCC was presented with this award for its focus on value for money and sustainability, noting that “this is very appropriate for today´s environment.” DCC works hard at improving its corporate reports each year. Canadian citizens, like all corporate shareholders, are entitled to transparency and efficiency in what DCC does.

CPA Canada has been handing out corporate reporting awards for 62 years, as part of a broad program to enhance the quality of financial reporting in Canada.

Cold Lake Utilities project team earns customer service accolades

The DCC team at 4 Wing Cold Lake that closed out the recent Cold Lake Utilities project received some high praise, not only from the organization, but from the Client-Partner. The team was nominated for a national DCC Customer Satisfaction Award for its recent accomplishments.
