Willow Park Armoury improves functionality for Halifax Army Reserve units

A new armoury at Halifax's Willow Park site is bringing together three army reserve units under one roof, providing modern facilities that will support the units' ability to train, work, and deploy on exercises and operations.

Seven hundred workers. Thirty months of construction. Eight months of relocation. Six months of demolition. A massive undertaking. As stated proudly by Charles Langlois, DCC Coordinator, Construction Services, "This long-awaited project is one of the biggest projects that DCC has undertaken in Valcartier in the past 20 years!"

New multi-purpose facility to be year-round home for Whitehorse Cadets

A new DCC project in Whitehorse will benefit youth in the North by expanding the facilities available to the Canadian Cadet Program and their leaders throughout the year. The four-season Cadet Multi-Purpose Building will be a welcome addition to the Whitehorse Cadet Training Centre.

New diesel engines to keep northern radar stations up and running

With help from DCC, radar stations in northern Canada will continue monitoring northern airspace for decades to come. A DCC team is currently overseeing the replacement of the 111 diesel electrical generator engines that power 36 North Warning System stations.
