Grant Sayers

In the wake of the retirement of Western Regional Director Steve Karpyshin in late June 2017, other experienced DCC staffers are taking on new roles.

Quebec Regional Director Grant Sayers is heading back to the West to take up the reins as Western Regional Director.

Sayers, a Certified Engineering Technologist with a mechanical background, joined DCC in 2003 as a Contract Coordinator in Suffield, Alberta. Later, he served in Comox, B.C., and in the Western Regional Office in Edmonton in various management roles. He was promoted to lead the Quebec Region in 2012.

Stepping into Sayers’ shoes in Quebec is Nicolas Forget, most recently

Nicolas Forget
Regional Service Line Leader for the Project and Program Management Services and Real Property Management Services service lines in that region.

Forget has a Master of Science degree and UXO Technician Level 1 certification. He joined DCC in 2001, starting as a Coordinator, Environmental Services, in the Quebec Regional Office. He has served twice at Head Office, including as Manager, Operations Coordination Team, and was instrumental in setting up DCC’s UXO Practice Area.
